Aspen Heights is a rock den site and territory found in Slough Creek.

In WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, Aspen Heights is a returning den site in Slough Creek following the release of update 1.0.6. It can be found north-east of the First Meadow map label. It was moved south-west of its former position in older games and now sits at the bottom of the slope it could be found at the top of. On the locations table, its WolfQuest Wiki designation is Rock/Cave 02.

In WolfQuest: Classic, Aspen Heights is a returning den and territory located in the north-east region of the Slough Creek map. It does not require any experience points to claim. The territory resides close to elk hunting grounds and is relatively far away from the northern stranger wolf pack territory. It is one of two den sites whose shelter is set within a cave-like rock formation, the other being Saddle Meadows. Visiting the area before choosing a den awards an achievement.

It is set a reasonable distance away from elk herds and is far away from wolf pack territory; this means hunting will not take the player too far away from home and that the player is less likely to have uninvited wolves popping up as threats.

This territory presents the farthest trek from the summer rendezvous site, presenting the most risk and challenge later on, though it somewhat makes up for this with the cattle ranch being within a moderate distance of this territory, granting another method of collecting food for the pups which itself has some risk involved.

This den is some distance from elk grounds and the nearest wolf pack territory. Hunting forays will take longer, but stranger wolves are less likely to intrude into your territory. This den is also farthest from your summer hunting grounds, to which you must go later in the spring.

In Legacy versions of WolfQuest, Aspen Heights is a den and territory located in the north-east region of the Slough Creek map. It does not require any experience points to claim. The territory resides close to elk hunting grounds and is relatively close to stranger wolf pack territory, and is one of two den sites that have a cave-like rock formation which acts as a den, the other being Saddle Meadows.

It has an equal distance from elk herds and the nearby wolf pack territory; this means hunting will be faster, but you're more likely to have uninvited stranger wolves popping up, posing a risk to your pups in your absence. Additionally, this territory is the furthest trek from the summer home presenting a challenge later on, though it somewhat makes up for this by being fairly close to the cattle ranch for easy food which itself has some risk involved.

The nearest elk grounds are close by, as is the nearest wolf pack territory. If you choose this site, your pups will be at greater risk from the stranger wolves, but you would also travel a shorter distance to hunt. This den is farthest away from your summer hunting grounds, to which you must go later in the spring.

  • In earlier builds of 2.7, the blurb for this territory was inaccurate, stating that the northern stranger wolf pack was close. While this was true in earlier versions of 2.0.X-2.5.X, this is no longer true for 2.7.X since the development team had moved the node further west which means it would be further away from this territory. This has since been corrected.
