This sub-article documents achievements for WolfQuest: Classic only. Entries marked with ^SP can only be unlocked in single-player. Entries marked with ^MP can only be unlocked in multiplayer.

There are 110 achievements available to earn.

Note: This article shows everything, including hidden achievements which will be represented with a icon and the descriptor for some will simply be "???" until unlocked. Their name will not be obfuscated and can be used as a clue. Ranks are the exception and will always be fully visible.

Lost River

Ranks

These achievements will trigger over time as the player's avatar accumulates experience points and passes specific milestones. While the achievements for each rank are only awarded once per account, the ranks themselves can be earned for individually for each separate wolf the player has created through gameplay.

These ranks are purely cosmetic and exist only for bragging rights. Wolves in this version of the game do not age.

Bugs

• If a cougar kills an NPC stranger wolf, the player is awarded Just Embarrassing if the player had not yet died to a cougar themself to earn it. This suggests the game may be looking for any wolf to trigger certain achievement unlocks, not specifically the player-wolf.
• When unlocked, "Under the Fir Tree" erroneously reuses the icon for the unlocked "Just a Pile of Rocks" achievement. There is no unlock icon for Bison Peak within the game files.

Trivia

• Some achievements are based on the suggestions sought by Dave in late December 2014
  • The WolfQuest FAQ forum was updated within days of 2.7's release, complete with an achievements FAQ topic available here.
• The wolf skull is the only object to emit a glow effect for ease of visibility, making it easier to spot at night.
• Saddle Meadows' icon clearly says "Saddle Creek". However, its descriptor plainly says "Saddle Meadows". The icon's caption is likely to be an error.
• The Druid pack icon's caption and the achievement descriptor both say "Druid Pack".
  • It is thought that the Druid Pack depicted in-game was the famed Yellowstone Druid Peak wolf pack.
• The rank icons were made by Sambhur.
• There were no unique per-achievement icons in earlier versions of 2.7; locked and unlocked achievements were instead represented with a silhouetted howling wolf head and an alternately-colored circle behind it. This can still be seen in the old revisions for Missions, Actions, and Places.
  • The artist for the achievement icons is unknown.
• Initially, the Packmate rank required 50,000 experience to unlock. It was later reduced to 40,000 experience.
• This system is powered by Combu, developed by Skared Creations on the Unity Asset Store.

• There's No Place Like Home is a quote from The Wizard of Oz.
• It's Mine, All Mine is a possible quote from the Looney Tunes character, Daffy Duck.
• & Then There Was One may be a reference to the 1994 film of the same name.
• Happily Ever After is a reference to a typical happy ending, typically associated with fairy tales or children's literature.
• Bulls-Eye is a term used in the sports game known as darts, scoring the player 180 points if they successfully hit a red mark set in the middle of the board. It is a fairly common activity found throughout pubs as well as being well-known in the United Kingdom.
• I'm Hunting Wabbits is a common quote from the Looney Tunes character, Elmer Fudd, used while hunting Bugs Bunny.
• Big Bad Wolf is a reference to the antagonist wolf of the fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood.
• King of the Hill is a likely reference to the children's game of the same name. There's a low possibility that it might also reference the adult animated television series by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels which aired from 12 January 1997 until 6 May 2010.
• Fairest of Them All is a reference to the fairytale, Snow White.
• Hello, Kitty is a likely reference to the Hello Kitty brand by the Japanese company Sanrio.
• Many Moosen is a possible reference to Brian Regan's Stupid In School.
• Once in a Blue Moose is a play on the phrase "once in a blue moon", meaning something that rarely happens.
• Ring of Fire is a likely reference to the song by Johnny Cash.
• Ashes to Ashes could be a reference to the song by David Bowie.
• Happy Together is a likely reference to the song by The Turtles.
• Rolling, Rolling, Rolling could be a reference to either of the songs by Blues Brothers or Limp Bizkit.
• No Exit is a reference to the 1944 existentialist French play by Paul Sartre.
• Boots Made for Walking is a reference to the Nancy Sinatra song.
• Grand Tour may be a reference to the classic tour of Europe undertaken by young wealthy people in the 19^th century, or to the Voyager space probes of the 1970s.
• Against All Odds is a reference to the Phil Collins song.
• You're Ill-Eagle is a reference to the bad joke about unlawful versus illegal.
• Alas, Poor Yorick is a reference to Hamlet, Act 5, scene 1.
