Saddle Meadows is a rock den site and territory found in Slough Creek. It requires no experience to find and claim.
In WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, Saddle Meadows is a returning den site in Slough Creek following the release of update 1.0.6. It can found in the First Meadow area on the slopes at the bottom of a hillside directly west of this map label, or north-west of the Little Butte. It was moved south and now resides on a slope at the bottom of its former hilltop position. On the locations table, its WolfQuest Wiki designation is Rock/Cave 01.
In WolfQuest: Classic, East Creek is a returning territory located in the north-west region of the Slough Creek map. It resides within range of elk hunting grounds and is relatively far from stranger wolf pack territory. It is one of two den sites whose shelter is set within a cave-like rock formation, the other being Aspen Heights. This site has a distinct broken tree behind its rocky shelter. Visiting the area before choosing a den awards an achievement.
In order to hunt there is a moderate journey to and from the nearest elk herd, but there is little danger from intruding wolves due to the distance of both rival territories. It is the closest den with the easiest and safest path to the summer rendezvous site.
“ | Here on Saddle Meadows, the nearest elk grounds are some distance from this den, as is the nearest wolf pack's territory. If you choose this site, you will travel farther to hunt, but with less worry about stranger wolves encroaching into your territory. | ” |
