I love collecting facts and make pictures about WQ :) I made a few beautiful ones for NPCS. I don´t know how to add the pictures tho, even tho i click on the placeholder etc. it somehow doesn´t work :( It seems like I have to get a permission. I´ve already read all about the quidelines :( Also there´s one fact I´ve found out about the hares. If you kill them in SC during the winter, the carcasses remain white even during the spring! (I´ve made a small experiment to this- for the evidence see the picture below) I´ve also made pictures of the birds (that was tough :D) and a few that are not in the wiki. Check them below!
Hmm... these look stretched or distorted. Were they resized at all? (We ask that contributors don't resize images as this reduces quality. Cropping is fine.) WolfQuest Wiki:Policy#Media Policies
In general, some protected articles won't allow gallery contribution. Articles marked with a silver padlock indicate user-level contributors acn edit (you might not be able to edit immediately, but this should occur within days of registering iirc) while a gold padlock indicates full protection that only admin-level users can edit.
You should still be able to upload images to placeholder filenames (provided they comply with our media policies) though it may take the Wiki some time to recognise them without editing and publishing the article again after uploading.
1) The intention with this layout was to use the maps sub-menu as a way of showing non-episode locations. Before it was revised to accomodate Lost River, all maps were listed under this menu and it only ended up parted out into its current episodes and non-episodes split to help reduce confusion between maps that are based in Yellowstone and maps that were set outside of the park.
The only real issue with the way Wiki Fandoms handle their navmenu are its limitations. I'll leave this open for discussion to see what other people think. Previous revisions for the navigation menu are available at MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation, or for wip drafts: MediaWiki_talk:Wiki-navigation
2) Agreed and moved.
3) Looks to have been an oversight left in the draft - thanks for pointing it out! Updated.
The infobox has been updated today to include usage documentation, eye colours for the upcoming 3.0 wolf model's new customization, to support a number of pack(s) and a quote (credit to SukioFanAlt for this one!) that is relevant to your character.
If anyone has ideas for things they want to see in the infobox, feel free to make them known. :) You can easily omit anything you don't want displayed by leaving its respective field blank.
Apologies for the wait -- done. Turns out stats were present in the code, but absent from the output code and its example. This has now been addressed in what is hopefully the final edit to the template for today. ^^;
That error does not seem genuine... care to provide a screenshot as proof?
It isn't unheard of for the game to glitch in this way (player only sees skybox), though I'm unsure anyone knows of the cause or even how to fix it. Best thing to do is to run a consistency check or redownload if you're playing the Itch.io or Humble Bundle versions. If you're running the Steam version, validate game integrity. For moblie editions, reinstall. If problems persist, submit a bug report or go to the WolfQuest Community Forum and seek help there. There isn't a lot that we can do for you here on the WolfQuest Wiki Fandom.
Can’t :/ My device died straight after the pop up, and when I reloaded it wasn’t there, making it impossible to get the screenshot, but at least the glitch is gone now, must have been somthing with the game
Use Special:CreatePage and name it User:SukioFanAlt/Subpagetitlehere, or go the route of setting up a redlink and creating a new page based on that. (Example: User:SukioFanAlt/Wolves, click and create that page, then edit to your liking.)
For other templates, I've been keeping a list of everything created for user main- and sub-pages, as well as article usage, over here.
