Trivia[]
Anniversary Edition Trivia
- Juveniles grow as the seasons progress.
- Some traces of unreleased animals could be found within the game files between revisions.
- Files associated with beavers -- initially, model textures, some sounds, and footprint tracks -- were hidden unused in the game files. The model itself and scent data were absent until their official release into the game in patch 1.0.7.
- Files associated with bighorn sheep -- initially, a ewe model, textures, some sounds, and footprint tracks -- are hidden and currently go unused within the game files. Scent data from the ewe was seemingly accidentally included in a past release which suggests their scent color spectrum may be in the duller orange range.[1] This leaked color has since been removed from the game files.
Classic Trivia
- Beavers in this version do exist, though they are without entities. The only signs of their presence are audio cues, a dam, and a lodge in Lost River.
