Complete team listing, past and present

I've been keeping track of report team members to maintain a comprehensive listing of current and previous blueberries, so a majority of the article is based on memory alone with a little help from the RT forum to recap on former members. I'll keep updating the topic as team changes occur, whether it's good or bad, so you may see moderators' names moving around before their green name disappears officially.

Consider it a kind of 'behind-the-scenes' thing; I won't be resigning, since I vowed to stick around until the end, so we'll see how the team changes before then. ;) ~Neam WolfQuest-logo 13:12, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Team Disbanded

On the 3rd of December 2015, lexicon chat was finally removed from version 2.5. Because the Report Team's sole purpose involved actively patrolling the open multiplayer lobby, the stance that private games are entered at your own risk, which Dave has confirmed. Adding the lack of free text chat in public games to the total renders this team obsolete.

Unless the team considers adding text (or next to free) chat in public games, there is no need for the Report Team. If Eduweb decides to implement text chat, it's not clear whether the Report Team would be revived (and new patrollers openly sought after) or if the role would involve staff aid -- ie, administrators, moderators and/or beta testers -- to run successfully.

The downfall of lexicon was the lack of action being done towards the end; I know this because I was a Report Team member. From that experience, if there is sufficient interest and activity going on in 2.7 and beyond, it would undoubtedly require more hands on-board to attend to problem users in a timely manner. Again, the downfall of lexicon was caused by the lack of staff actively dealing with reports; I recall the workload fell to Cana and perhaps wq_admin. As I stated here, offers to help were made, but ultimately they got turned down.
