WolfQuest Wiki

Tutorials appear in all versions of WolfQuest with various implementations and subjects across each major revision. They serve as assistance to guide and help new players understand the basics of the controls, survival aspects, and interfaces among other things.

In WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, the tutorial is a system split between occasional gameplay interruptions and an in-game library containing its own articles written by the development team. It includes controls, information about the wolf badge, quest guidance, and a wealth of essential gameplay and survival tips. Unlike its predecessors, an early access patch added a button to reset tutorials from within the settings interface, allowing past hints and tips which may have already been seen and read by the player to reappear.

To reset tutorials, go to Game Settings and find Tutorials under the Gameplay tab. Open the dropdown menu and select "On". (Even if they were already on.) This will prompt the player to reset tutorials or only display new tips.

In WolfQuest: Classic, the tutorial is a system of occasional gameplay interruptions. It includes controls, information about the wolf badge, tidbits of guidance, and essential gameplay and survival tips.

In Legacy versions of WolfQuest, the tutorial is a system of gameplay interruptions. It includes controls, information about the wolf badge, tidbits of guidance, and essential gameplay and survival tips. While enabled, it will offer the player some basic tips and hints throughout their journey in Yellowstone.

Tutorial dialogue box screenshots are included in this section of the article. Most of the time these dialogue boxes appear during gameplay, but they may also pop up while the player is idle, suggesting they are timed.
